Inauguration Ceremony of the 57th Term Board of Directors of Yan Chai Hospital

On April 19, 2024, Marcus Wong, the leader of the Round Table Family and Convenor of the Olympic Family, attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the 57th Term Board of Directors of Yan Chai Hospital at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Wan Chai. He was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Chris Sun Yuk-Han, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, and Mr. Clarence Leung Wang-Ching, BBS, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs and Youth Bureau, as the guest of honor. Mrs. Mary Suen, the outgoing Chairman, and Dr. Cheung Man-Ka, Marcella, the newly appointed Chairman of Yan Chai Hospital, delivered speeches.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Marcus embodies the spirit of giving back. He has assumed the esteemed role of Board of Director of Yan Oi Tong and a honorary advisor of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation. During his tenure, he established the "Yan Oi Tong Elderly Care Fund”, which assists low-income seniors burdened by high expenses. Moreover, his compassionate endeavors include founding the Cancer Fund, providing vital assistance to those unable to afford life-saving medications. Recognizing the importance of nurturing the next generation, Marcus spearheaded the creation of the Youth Council Founding, dedicated to the educational advancement of youths.
By joining the Board of Directors of Yan Chai Hospital, Marcus believes that not only will his donations be put to good use, but he will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the hospital in further charitable endeavors, benefiting more vulnerable groups and contributing to society.
