Our Founder
Mr. Marcus Wong, Founder of Round Table Family, Convenor of Olympia Family and Vice Chairman of WRise Wealth Management, is a pioneering force in the insurance industry. Backed by an impressive 25 - year track record, his outstanding achievements include the prestigious distinction of being the first insurance elite to receive the esteemed Forbes Global Alliance Platinum Membership. Additionally, Marcus generously imparts his wealth of expertise as a valued columnist for the Family Office section of "iMoney" magazine. Contributing to the continuous expansion of the industry's knowledge base.
From a young age, Marcus showcased exceptional talent in insurance. He swiftly rose to become a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) member, achieving recognition as the highest premium individual marketer by age 26. He shattered records by becoming the youngest-ever District Director appointed by the AIA Group and attained esteemed positions such as Senior District Director and Premier Senior District Director.
Driven by a passion for collaboration and giving back, Marcus founded the "Round Table District" in 2006, which has since evolved into our esteemed "Round Table Family." Today, this family proudly comprises a financial planning team of over 1,100 professionals. Throughout his career, Marcus has remained closely attuned to developments in the Greater China region and globally, allowing him to effectively manage the WRise Wealth Management Family Office under the family's umbrella, leveraging an unprecedented fusion of finance and technology.
Marcus not only achieves great professional success, but he also embodies the spirit of philanthropy. He serves as a Board of Director for Yan Oi Tong and is an honorary advisor for the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation. His compassionate initiatives include establishing the "Yan Oi Tong Elderly Care Fund" to support low-income seniors facing financial burdens and founding the Cancer Fund to provide life-saving medications to those in need. Recognizing the importance of nurturing the next generation, Marcus spearheaded the creation of the Youth Council Founding, dedicated to advancing the education of youths.
In 2024, Marcus joined the esteemed Board of Directors of Yan Chai Hospital. His belief in the power of collaboration with various charitable organizations not only ensures the effective utilization of his donations but also enables him to make a meaningful impact on vulnerable communities and contribute to the betterment of society.

National Recognition of Mr. Marcus Wong's Extraordinary Achievements in the Business World
In 1997, artist Liu Yuyi created a renowned masterpiece titled "Auspicious Days," depicting over a hundred prominent figures from the Hong Kong business community. This painting fetched an astounding price of HK$23 million at an auction.
Fast forward to 2017, Liu Yuyi created another artwork called "Soaring Dragons Over Fragrant Harbor," which toured worldwide. This piece portrayed successful individuals, including President Xi Jinping, to honor their accomplishments. Mr. Marcus Wong, who has excelled in the Hong Kong business and insurance industry, had the privilege of being included in this artwork commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong handover.
"Soaring Dragons Over Fragrant Harbor" symbolizes the realization of "One Country, Two Systems." Liu Yuyi dedicated over two years to crafting this magnificent artwork, measuring five meters wide and two meters high. By featuring Mr. Marcus Wong in this historic piece, it not only acknowledges his personal contributions in shaping the Hong Kong business landscape but also represents the collective efforts and success of the entire Hong Kong business community.
This artwork signifies national - level honor and recognition, as well as the enduring spirit and shared vision of the people of Hong Kong for a brighter future. Welcome to the Round Table Family! I am Marcus Wong, the proud founder who has been a part of the esteemed AIA family for the past 25 years.
Under the banner of MDRT's "Round Table," I established the "Round Table Family" with a singular purpose: to provide the brightest minds with the finest platform for their professional growth. Our mission is to empower elites who join us to attain the industry's highest accolades, such as the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), Court of the Table (COT), and Top of the Table (TOT), all within a short span of time, while fostering the development of their own formidable teams.
The Round Table Family embodies the chivalrous spirit of "No Distinction" and guides our team with a holistic philosophy of "Individuality," "Selfless Sharing," and "Embrace the freedom of talent". Our family members each have unique stories, hailing from diverse backgrounds and bringing a wealth of experience. Now united under the Round Table Family, we transcend hierarchical boundaries, actively nurturing a culture of care, attentive listening, unity, camaraderie, mutual learning, and knowledge-sharing. Even when divergent perspectives arise, we seek harmony amidst differences, enabling us to stride hand in hand and achieve the triumphs we celebrate today.
